Chew each bite of your sandwich for 30 seconds and eat less

People who eat slowly and mindfully eat less than people eating their whole meal in 5-10 minutes. They are allowing their brain to inform them when they feel full. This explains why these people are usually thinner than others.

 
– Take breaks by putting your fork beside your plate between each bite.
– Try to taste every flavor of your meal (try to detect the spices, taste, etc).
– Eat with chopsticks.
– Enjoy your meal without distraction such as the TV or Facebook!
