Je parle français et vous? Yup, I speak both English and French.  My first language is French from Quebec and when I have moved to BC in 2007, I had to learn English!  It took me 5 months to understand and speak it.

Did you know that by learning another language you stave off the age-related memory loss?  Researchers in India found that bilingual people developed Alzheimer’s disease or dementia about 4.5 years later than people who only speak their own language.

Indeed, by knowing more languages, you keep more areas of the brain active and it can improve:
