The best homemade hummus recipe ever

I have tried so many times to make my own hummus recipe without success. Finally, after many attempts, I got it and I can’t wait to share it with all of you. Enjoy watching the video here:

Serve with vegetables, in a pita or in a wrap.

Cooktime: Serves: 8-10Calories:


  • 1/3 cup homemade organic chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 can of 540 ml organic chickpeas
  • 3 organic garlic cloves
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp fresh organic lemon juice
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp Tahini
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper


  1. Open the can of chickpeas and using a strainer rinse the peas thoroughly with water.

  2. Add all ingredients to a food processor and process until the mixture is smooth.
