If you are experiencing a lot of muscle cramps, it is an indication that you need more potassium and magnesium.

To replenish a lack of potassium, eat half a banana and a quarter of an avocado.

In regards to the magnesium, before bed, I take a magnesium supplement.

As well, if you are very active, add electrolytes to your water.  You can get electrolytes and magnesium in any natural food store.
