As we get older, unfortunately our balance doesn’t get better. It deteriorates. Each year, 1 out of 3 Canadians,  65 years of age and older, will experience a significant fall. Falls are also one of the leading causes of injury-related hospitalizations among seniors.

That is why we always need to practice balance exercise regularly.

Here is a quick video of 2 important exercises to practice. These exercises will help preserve your reflex to put your foot quickly, regain your balance, and avoid a fall. Try to practice them at least once per week. Enjoy!
