Take 600 to 2,000 IU of vitamin D per day to reduce your risk of developing cancer

Take 600 to 2,000 IU of vitamin D per day to reduce your risk of developing cancer.

Vitamin D is found in some foods:
– salmon
– tuna
– egg yolk
– cow/rice milk
– orange juice
– sun exposure
In Canada, from Oct-March sun intensity is minimal, so the intake of vitamin D should be increased.

You may talk with your health care provider to know more about this.

If you have osteoporosis, you will need to increase your intake of vitamin D and C.  Visit the webiste of Osteoporosis Canada to know more  about it.
