6 Basic Steps to Love your Body Again and Shred Pounds!

If your focus is only on losing weight you will attract it back. That is why diets don’t work. You must change your mental attitude as well.

People become overweight because of their diet, their exercise patterns, and their thoughts. Start to analyze the way you talk about yourself. Are you using “fat terms” or “fat thoughts”? Until you are willing to change the way you feel and talk about yourself, you will stay fat. The trick is to see your mental image getting slimmer and using words like thinner, firmer, etc.

You are the master of your body and your thoughts. Miracles happen because people believe in themselves, send a specific message to the Universe and get what they want. One of my clients told me after having 2 children: “I cannot get back to my previous weight because of my pregnancies.” I have told her that until she changes the way she thinks about her body, I can only help her make small changes. To complete her goal she must change not only her dietary and exercise patterns, but her mental outlook as well.

Food is not the only reason why you are overweight. People skip meals and are overweight. (Get easy recipies here). They think that is the way to loose weight. In fact, if you skip meals your body retains the stored fat to make sure it will not be deprived of an energy source. Start thinking and eating for the slimmer body you want (smaller portions, super foods and healthy food please), exercise regularly, and you are going to shred the weight!

Here are your basic steps:

1- Meditate. Clearly ask yourself and the Universe to define your ideal weight. Be realistic and imagine and see yourself at that weight already.

2- Believe in what you have asked, believe in the Universe, and your ideal weight; it will be yours already.

3- Think perfect thoughts and perfect weight; it will happen.

– Write down the weight that will make you feel good on a post it and stick it on your scale.
– Describe the way you want to see yourself.
– Buy some motivation clothes that don’t fit you yet, but you are going to fit into them soon.

4- Appreciate and love every part of your body. You must feel good about yourself and your body. If you are not going to love yourself and your body, you are going to maintain your present weight or risk gaining even more weight.

5- Eat the healthy foods that you love and appreciate every bite. Smell, chew and be mindful about the good food you put in your beautiful body.

6- Incorporate physical activities in your daily life. Join one of my outdoor classes and meet my new friends who have the same desires as you:)) abstractfitness.ca/class
