Are the last 10 pounds the hardest to release?

When you are close to your weight goal, your body burns calories at a slower pace. That is why you need to go with a stricter diet (eat more fish and chicken) and change your exercise routine on a regular basis to avoid reaching a plateau.
Indeed, if these last 10 pounds are the hardest to reach they are probably unsustainable unless you make superhuman efforts, so the day you go back to a normal routine, the last 10 pounds might just come back! Make sure your goals are measurable and realistic.
